Emergency haulout for Charlotte M

FV Charlotte M declared the need for an emergency haulout, due to a major crack located in the bow section below the water line and was taking on water.

The Robert Page Marine Services team was engaged to carry out urgent hull repair work. Upon further inspection, it was discovered that the freshwater tank inside the hull had rusted out which also needed immediate repair work.

The water tank top was cut out and completely removed. The water tank undertook a full blast and paint during this process, while a new top was manufactured and then welded back in place. The major crack in the bow section was cropped out and fully repaired to survey standard.
